Birthdays and Invitations

We celebrate students' birthday (or half-birthday) by announcing their name on the intercom.

District 135 policy states no food treat or treat bags are permitted. If you would like to donate a book to the class or library in your child’s name, it would be greatly appreciated. Another alternative would be to donate a game to the class for indoor recess.

In terms of party invitations, please adhere to the following guideline: If your child is planning a party outside of school, please do not bring invitations to pass out unless every boy or every girl (respectively), or all students in the class are invited.  This is to prevent any hurt feelings.
